Supermodal

Supermodal is a creative filter effect built around two distinct filter engines running side by side. The Classic Filter is a smooth 24 dB/octave state variable filter that morphs between lowpass, bandpass and highpass modes, with built-in saturation and drive controls for warm, punchy tone. Beside it, the Modal Filter stacks hundreds of resonant bandpass filters into 27 harmonic variants grouped across nine models, including vocal formant, struck and waveform types, for resonant, instrument-like character. A Blend knob crossfades between both filters, while Dry/Wet keeps some of the original signal intact. The Modal XY pad lets you morph between models and variants on the fly, and modulation options make the effect feel playable. It suits electronic producers, sound designers and anyone seeking expressive, evolving filtering for pads, leads, drums and experimental textures in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic.
