Retronaut

Retronaut by United Plugins is a LoFi nostalgia machine that brings the warm, degraded character of vintage analog gear to your productions. At its core is a multi-voice vibrato and chorus engine, letting you blend from a single vibrato up to four voices for rich, lush chorusing. Beyond modulation, it offers tape saturation, wow and flutter, dusty crackles, and voltage-controlled filters with 2- or 4-pole resonant high-pass and low-pass options. The Feed control creates complex feedback networks between voices, and with Lag and filtering, you can dial in a stunning modulated reverb. Offset the voices in stereo, delay, phase, or LFO rate for organic movement. Whether you’re adding subtle tape warmth or full-on lo-fi degradation, Retronaut suits producers of ambient, electronic, and experimental music looking to infuse their tracks with nostalgic character and movement.
