Inear Display Cruelle is a distortion effect for producers who want abrasive textures, unstable feedback and glitch-like processing rather than gentle saturation. It pairs an analog-style filter with an oversampled digital distortion stage, giving electronic musicians and sound designers tools for pushing audio into harsher territory.
The filter offers parallel lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch outputs. Its dedicated modulator includes seven waveform shapes and runs from 0.001 Hz to 1000 Hz, covering slow movement through audio-rate modulation. Host sync is available when you want modulation tied to your project tempo.
Cruelle lets you morph between two distortion algorithms, adjust feedback and place the filter before or after the distortion. Separate bypass controls make it easier to compare each stage, while output amplitude and dry/wet controls help balance the processed signal against the original.
For quick starting points, there are over 40 factory presets and a randomizer. MIDI Learn, undo/redo, a signal visualizer and an interface that scales up to 200% support hands-on editing. The Windows VST version suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
