Acid V

Acid V by Arturia is a software instrument that recreates the iconic silver bass synth responsible for the punchy, abrasive sound of acid and rave. It delivers raw, biting bass tones with a circuit-accurate emulation, plus modern upgrades like a 2-octave sub oscillator, vibrato, and a hidden ‘hatch’ for analog imperfections. The advanced 64-step sequencer lets you generate, mutate, and randomize patterns with musical scales, while 14 distortion algorithms add everything from valve warmth to bit-crushed grit. With three function generators, four FX slots, and over 150 presets and 350 sequences, it’s a playground for evolving bass grooves. Ideal for hobby producers into electronic music, it excels at EDM bass, filtered textures, and wild FM tones. Whether you’re crafting acid lines or experimental sound design, Acid V brings the 303 spirit into your DAW with modern flexibility.
