MPC Expansion: Funk O’ Rama

Funk-O-Rama is an MPC expansion pack from AKAI that delivers 40 kits steeped in late-70s and early-80s funk. It features exclusive percussion from Carl “Butch” Smalls, whose credits include Parliament, Bootsy’s Rubber Band, and classic Death Row recordings, bringing live shakers, congas, and vibraslaps to your productions. SlimWav provides talk box vocals and funky vocal fills, while 24 Keygroups offer synths, leads, and basses processed through outboard gear like the SSL Fusion and Eventide H7600 for a distinctive analog character. Ideal for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want authentic funk textures, this pack suits beatmakers crafting hip-hop, R&B, or funk-inspired tracks. Please note that MPC software or hardware is required to use this expansion.
