KH-EQ1

KH-EQ1 is a semi-parametric 5-band equalizer plugin from Black Rooster Audio, designed for creative tone shaping. Each band offers rich-sounding frequency controls and per-band harmonic saturation, letting you add color and character to individual frequency ranges. Its innovative stepless Mid-Stereo-Side router opens up advanced stereo imaging possibilities, while the musical functionality encourages experimentation. Part of the Koen Heldens signature series, this EQ delivers a professional studio experience with custom presets crafted by Koen himself. Use it to sculpt individual tracks, add warmth to vocals or drums, or shape your entire mix. It suits hobby producers and engineers looking for a versatile, characterful EQ that goes beyond surgical correction. The plugin includes SSE2-optimized code for efficient performance and high-DPI Retina support for crisp visuals on both Windows and Mac. Whether you’re enhancing richness or exploring creative sound design, KH-EQ1 is a powerful addition to your production toolkit.
