BFD Player Expansion: Dark Mahogany

BFD Dark Mahogany is a drum expansion for BFD Player that captures the weight and character of a Q Drums mahogany kit recorded at Middle Farm Studios in South Devon, England. Inspired by the mid-2000s California hard rock scene, it pairs a meticulously tuned 24×18 bass drum with a Ludwig 402 snare and a Q Drums aluminium snare, plus one rack tom and two floor toms for thunderous, tribal-style fills. The core sound is deep and woody, with Zildjian hi-hats and cymbals adding a dynamic, ethereal quality. Five expertly crafted presets let you skip mixing, while an original mix preset gives you the raw studio recordings. With 348 individual grooves included, it suits hard rock, metal, and pop producers seeking a commanding, live-in-the-studio drum sound.
