WEDGE FORCE Oolong is an acoustic guitar instrument for Windows that lets keyboard players and home producers build expressive guitar parts from MIDI. Its Synthetic Force Engine III uses timbre extracted from studio recordings to synthesize notes in real time, rather than relying solely on sample playback.

Blend three signals to shape the recording perspective: a clean DI for external processing, a studio microphone signal, and an ambient microphone signal. For more lifelike phrasing, move the mod wheel to change the plucking position, or assign string damping to a MIDI controller for transitions between ringing notes and muted textures.

Oolong also extends two octaves below a standard guitar’s range, making it useful for low-register arrangements with an acoustic character. Built-in delay, flanger, and a multiband compressor provide further tone shaping. Alongside mono and stereo operation, supported multichannel DAW tracks can use surround configurations up to 7.1.2.

Available in VST2, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats, Oolong suits Windows workflows in FL Studio and Ableton Live, particularly for producers who want playable guitar textures without recording a guitarist.
