Portatron Preset Pack: Beta – Retrowave Melodics Vol.2

Capture the warm, nostalgic sound of the 1980s with Retrowave Melodics Vol. 2, a preset pack for Robotic Bean’s Portatron. This collection features 48 melodic and atmospheric loops recorded directly to VHS and 4-track tape, delivering the lush, unpredictable textures that define the era. Organized into three construction kits with four cassettes each, you’ll find a wide variety of loops including bass, arps, leads, pads, and SFX across multiple tempos and keys. The sequenced phrases, mellow chords, and hovering pads evoke the bittersweet feeling of coming of age, making them perfect for layering or adding intimate warmth to emotive productions. Whether you’re producing synthwave, lo-fi, or ambient music, these sounds suit hobby producers looking to infuse their tracks with authentic retro character. Ideal for FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic users seeking ready-made melodic inspiration with a distinctly analog vibe.
