Portatron Preset Pack: Dark Matter – Tales from the Synth Side Vol.2

Dark Matter – Tales from the Synth Side Vol.2 is a preset pack for Robotic Bean’s Portatron that delivers 32 loops of analog and modular synth textures. Organized across eight cassettes in a four-track format, it includes bass, pads, arpeggios, leads, drones, and SFX beds, all designed to coexist seamlessly. Rather than virtual instruments or four-on-the-floor beats, you get evolving sonic beds, brooding atmospheres, and left-of-center sequences ideal for cinematic, sci-fi, and synthwave productions. Each loop spans 8–16 bars and comes in a variety of keys and tempos, making it easy to layer depth into any track. It suits composers, artists, and producers seeking evocative modular elements without cookie-cutter sounds. If you want to entrance listeners with dark, atmospheric beds or amplify a production with visceral texture, this pack offers quality over quantity.
