thEQred

thEQred by MAAT is a linear-phase mastering EQ built for precision and transparency. Working in the frequency domain at 80-bit resolution, it delivers the kind of spectral correction that doesn’t smear transients or alter the character of a mix. Its twelve parametric bands include proprietary VariSlope shelving and cut filters, letting you dial slopes continuously from near-zero to 24 dB/octave without sacrificing the smooth, musical response MAAT is known for. Use it to add air to dark material without harshness, tighten low mids without mud, or gently rebalance a mix that leans too far in one direction. The interface keeps all twelve sections visible, includes a sonogram for spotting problem areas, and lets you snap a band to a pitch you hum or play. It suits mastering engineers and experienced producers who need invisible, high-precision tonal shaping.
