Pro Soloist

Cherry Audio’s Pro Soloist resurrects ARP’s 1972 preset-based monophonic synth and pushes it well past its original limits. Circuit-modeled DSP by Mark Barton faithfully captures the expressive touch-sensor keyboard, which responds to playing pressure for pitch bend, growl, wow, brilliance, volume and vibrato. All 30 classic presets are onboard, and the instrument is now fully programmable. A dual-layer voicing design offers 16 polyphonic voices per layer, letting you stack or split two presets with independent panning for rich stereo textures. A mod matrix, simulated polyphonic aftertouch and studio-quality effects round out the package. It excels at brassy leads, strings, woodwinds and other vintage tones, making it a natural fit for prog, classic rock and retro-flavored productions. Hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton or Logic who want characterful analog sounds with modern flexibility will find plenty to explore here.
