BFD Player Expansion: Dark Copper

BFD Player – Dark Copper is a drum instrument expansion built around a rare Q Drums Co. copper kit, derived from the larger BFD Dark Farm collection. Recorded at Middle Farm Studios in the UK, it captures a raw, hard-hitting character with plenty of smack, natural ambience, and the fiery warmth that copper shells are known for. The kit centers on Ludwig Super Classic toms and kick, paired with two Ludwig snares and a broad Zildjian cymbal selection—A-Custom crashes and ride, K China, K Splash, and Quick Beat hi-hats—giving you everything from shimmering accents to crisp, cutting hi-hat work. Two massive floor toms add seismic low-end weight for modern rock grooves. It suits hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want an aggressive, mix-ready rock drum sound without deep tweaking. Ideal for modern rock, hard rock, and heavier productions that need instant punch and presence.
