Renegate

Renegate by Auburn Sounds is a full-band gate plugin that makes gating simple and musical. It delivers a smooth, natural sound with program-dependent hysteresis and auto-release, so it adapts to your material without constant tweaking. Built-in look-ahead ensures you catch every transient, while a 43-band psychoacoustic auditory model provides state-of-the-art envelope detection. You can apply gain reduction via a 1-pole lowpass or highpass, and 4x oversampling keeps things clean. A built-in sequencer and MIDI control let you shape gate openings rhythmically, and a Raw knob brings back digital grit when you want it. Renegate is ideal for hobby producers working on drums, vocals, or any source that needs tight gating—especially in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic. Its informative view and instant setup make it a quick, reliable workhorse for cleaning up tracks, tightening beats, or creating rhythmic textures.
