Aquaalt is a Kontakt instrument library that captures the unique sound of a handcrafted water lute invented by Bart Hopkin. A steel bowl resonator with moving water creates evolving, dreamy resonances, sampled in close and direct-line mic positions. You get plucks, long and short bows, sul ponticello, and glissandi across four layers, with up to 8x round robin and 6 velocity layers. The interface includes an LFO system, 12 filter types, a customizable arpeggiator, key and scale lock, and a modular FX rack with 27 DSP modules. It also ships with custom FX presets and ambient sound-designed content. Ideal for film composers, ambient and experimental producers, and any hobbyist seeking unusual acoustic textures for FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
