Hyperion Strings Ensemble

Hyperion Strings Ensemble is a 30-piece orchestral string library for Kontakt, offering eight 1st violins, seven 2nd violins, six violas, five cellos and four double basses. It provides true legato, adaptive articulation switching, and a huge range of shorts—from staccatos to spiccatos and pizzicatos—plus expressive swells, runs and aleatoric effects. The interface includes an arpeggio editor, play-assist, and A-B blending for shaping performances. With three mic positions (Stage, Close, Mid Hall, Far Hall), you can dial in anything from a tight cinematic presence to a lush, natural hall sound. It suits composers and producers writing orchestral music, film scores, or adding realistic strings to pop, electronic, and media projects. Whether you need delicate divisi textures or bombastic stabs, Hyperion delivers flexible, expressive strings for Kontakt-based workflows.
