Shaper Table by Kilohearts is a wavetable-powered distortion effect that takes waveshaping to the next level. Instead of a fixed curve, it uses a table of data—like a wavetable—to remap your signal, letting you scroll through frames for distortion that morphs over time. The 3D graph shows all available frames, while the 2D graph displays the current shape with phase and bias controls. Add drive for heavier saturation, smooth the wave shape to tame harshness, and enable the DC filter to clean up offset. Overflow modes (repeat, hold, or mirror) define what happens beyond the curve edges. With a large built-in table library and a table editor for custom shapes, you can craft gnarly distortion sweeps, evolving textures, and rich harmonic movement. It works as a regular plugin or inside Kilohearts Snapin hosts. Ideal for producers exploring creative sound design.
