Res Q

Res Q by Tone Empire is an equalizer plugin that blends the smooth shelving curves of classic British EQs with the surgical midrange precision of American designs. Its four-mode preamp section offers transformer and op-amp flavors, plus triode and pentode tube models, letting you add subtle harmonic enhancement or bold coloration. The frequency selections are musically tuned, so every adjustment helps instruments either sit cohesively in a mix or cut through with clarity. Version 1.3 brings a major CPU optimization—up to 60% less processing on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3) and Windows Intel chips—so you can run multiple instances at any sample rate without strain. Ideal for hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic, Res Q suits anyone seeking a versatile, musical EQ with characterful saturation for tracking, mixing, and mastering.
