DERES is a resonance-suppression effect plugin from W A Production that hunts down hidden resonances and unruly harmonics in your mix. Unlike a standard surgical EQ that targets one narrow frequency, DERES works from the mathematical playbook of sound harmonics, processing multiple related overtones at once. Use the Listen button to isolate and exaggerate problem frequencies, sweep the 1–8 kHz range with the Find knob, then dial in Reduce to clean up muddy or harsh peaks. The Octave knob catches related harmonic peaks, while Q adjusts the width. A dynamic mode adds more musical processing that only steps in when needed, and Tone helps restore balance to supporting instruments like pads and strings. It suits hobby producers stacking synths or building bass lines who want cleaner, clearer mixes before mastering.
