ALLURE: Modern Upright

Heavyocity’s ALLURE: Modern Upright reimagines the upright piano as a deeply expressive instrument for modern production. Built from a hand-picked 53-inch upright, it captures the natural warmth and intimate texture of felted keys, plus prepared articulations played with brushes, twine, mallets, and plucks. With over 16 GB of detailed samples and a broad collection of snapshot presets, it moves easily from delicate, close-miked piano performances to resonant, textural layers that sit well in ambient, cinematic, and electronic tracks. The ASCEND engine adds Heavyocity’s signature sound-design controls, letting you shape and layer the source material beyond its acoustic origins. It suits hobby producers and composers who want a characterful piano with sound-design flexibility for scoring, songwriting, and atmospheric production.
