Handpan

Handpan by Ergo Kukke captures the soothing, cinematic voice of a hand-hammered nitrided steel handpan, recorded at 192kHz stereo to feel as intimate as playing it on your lap. Built for Kontakt, it offers both D-minor presets—where the instrument’s natural resonances shine—and chromatic presets that let you map its unique tone to any scale. The engine blends four sound sources and includes articulations like finger, thumb, nail, mute, air vibration, and two mallets, plus inside-the-pan samples, percussion, textures, and bonus rhythms. Its long, meditative tail suits ambient, cinematic, and downtempo productions, while rhythmic articulations work for melodic percussion. Ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic seeking an inspiring, soulful instrument that adds organic warmth and serenity to their tracks.
