Acou6tics

Acou6tics by Vir2 Instruments is a Kontakt-powered acoustic guitar instrument collection for producers who want expressive string parts without recording live players. It brings together steel-string, twelve-string and nylon-string guitars, plus ukulele, mandolin and guitalele. Detailed samples capture picked and fingerplayed tones, with articulations including mutes, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides and harmonics to help melodies and accompaniment feel more natural. Blend stereo microphone recordings with a piezo DI perspective, then shape the sense of space using virtual room controls and adjustable mic distance. Sympathetic resonance adds the interaction of ringing strings, while customizable strumming and picking engines help turn keyboard performances into guitar arrangements. From intimate folk textures and acoustic pop rhythms to layered soundtrack parts, Acou6tics suits home producers and composers looking for a versatile palette of acoustic strings.
