Action Woodwinds is a cinematic woodwind instrument from Native Instruments and Sonuscore, built for composers who need the sound of a full woodwind ensemble with serious creative control. It pairs high and low ensembles—clarinets, oboes, flutes, English horns, bassoons, contrabass clarinets, and more—with over 1,000 pre-built phrases you can chop, duplicate, and refine using Live Modules. Craft trills, crescendos, falls, and runs, or design your own themes with Melodic and Arpeggio modes. The Scaler feature keeps everything in key, Custom mode lets you shape each sequence step, and the 8va button doubles phrases an octave above. Multiple mic positions and separate high/low ensemble controls help you tailor the sound, and you can export performances as MIDI to drive strings or synths.
