Addictive Trigger

Addictive Trigger by XLN Audio is a drum replacement plugin for tightening up live-recorded drums with sampled sounds. Its Audio Fingerprint technology uses FFT-based analysis to identify hits in recordings affected by mic bleed and background noise, helping capture quiet ghost notes without triggering unwanted sounds. It can also distinguish between articulations such as sidestick and open snare hits at similar levels, so replacement samples follow the original performance more closely. For a quick starting point, SuperStart listens to a few seconds of playback and automatically adjusts detection settings to suit the track. Included drum sounds and features drawn from Addictive Drums 2 make it a complete option for improving recorded drum tracks. It suits home producers and mix engineers who want more consistent drums while preserving the detail of a drummer’s playing.
