Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 v22.5.0.62 is video editing software for Windows, designed for creating content for film, television, and the web. It is a standalone application rather than a VST audio plugin, so it belongs in a video production workflow instead of an effects slot in your DAW.
For hobby music producers, Premiere Pro is relevant when a project needs a visual component, such as a music video or an edited performance recording. Its creative editing tools help turn footage into finished videos, while connections with other Adobe applications and services support projects that involve more than one creative tool. Adobe Sensei technology also assists parts of the production workflow.
The subscription offering described for this version includes Premiere Rush, which lets users capture footage and begin editing across devices. This Windows release is aimed at creators who need dedicated video editing alongside their music-making setup, not a synthesizer, audio effect, or replacement for FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic Pro.
