ADSR Hexcel is a free generative MIDI sequencer for Reaktor 6 that turns a harmonic-table grid into evolving note patterns. It suits producers who want to explore semi-random melodies and sequences while keeping control over how unpredictable the results become.

Instead of arranging notes along a conventional timeline, you build paths across a hexagonal grid. Green cells launch moving nodes, and yellow cells play their assigned MIDI notes when those nodes reach them. Orange cells send nodes back in the opposite direction, while red cells remove them. Grey cells steer the movement: enable a single exit for a fixed route, or several exits to introduce random direction changes.

Additional controls adjust sequencer speed and node generation timing. A Clear button removes all moving nodes when you want to reset the activity.

Hexcel generates MIDI rather than audio, so you need to route its output to a MIDI-capable synth within Reaktor or through a suitable DAW setup, such as Ableton Live. This Windows download requires the full version of Reaktor 6, updated to the latest release; Reaktor Player is not supported.
