aiXdsp Multiband Compressor is a Windows dynamics effect for producers who need separate control over different parts of the frequency spectrum. It is useful for drum overheads, where cymbals may need different compression settings from the body of the drums, and other tracks that benefit from frequency-specific processing.

Each band provides compression alongside upward and downward expansion, with controls for gain, threshold, ratio, attack, hold, release, punch, and RMS window size. This lets you adjust both the amount of processing and how each band responds to incoming audio, with zero latency.

Flexible detector routing allows a band to react to its own signal, another band, the full input, or an external sidechain. Detector signals can be filtered and auditioned using key listen, making it easier to hear what is triggering the dynamics. Mute, solo, and bypass controls help you check individual bands, while an optional limiter offers soft and hard clipping algorithms.
