Amazing Machines WRECKER Wave Folder is a Reaktor effects ensemble for producers who want to explore wave folding, pulse modulation and moving stereo textures. It brings several sound-shaping tools into one processor, making it useful for hobby musicians and sound designers interested in more experimental processing.
The wave folder offers 16 stages, with a curve control that blends stepped and linear modulation shapes. A separate 16-stage pulse modulator provides the same curve-blending approach. For additional tonal shaping, WRECKER includes a two-pole state-variable filter with low-pass, band-pass and high-pass modes, plus a crossfader for transitions between filter responses.
Movement comes from a pan modulator and four LFOs equipped with waveform crossfading and slew limiting. An integrated oscilloscope gives you a visual reference while adjusting the processing.
This Windows package contains one Reaktor ensemble, rather than a standalone VST effect. It requires the full version of Native Instruments Reaktor 5.8 or later, so FL Studio and Ableton Live users will need a compatible Reaktor installation to use it within their projects.
