Ample China Erhu

Ample China Erhu brings the expressive voice of the traditional Chinese bowed string instrument into your DAW with remarkable realism. Recorded from three Erhus in D, C, and low G, it covers an expansive pitch range and offers 30 articulations spanning bowed, fingered, expressive, and FX groups—from tremolos and ricochets to pizzicatos, trills, and crying phrases. An intelligent legato system with customizable portamento supports fluid, endless melodic lines, while five mic positions, four stereo mix modes, and built-in EQ let you shape the tone. Additional touches like polyphonic chord mode, loop sustain, improvised licks, and a creative Mirroring effect expand your options. It suits film and game composers, world-music producers, and anyone seeking haunting solo lines or intricate ensemble textures with authentic nuance.
