Ample China Zheng

Ample China Zheng brings the authentic voice of the Guzheng to your DAW, sampled from a master-crafted Dunhuang “Purple Cloud” instrument. This 8 GB library captures 13 expressive articulations, from tremolos and pitch bends to signature glissandos, delivering a remarkably nuanced performance. The unique glissando engine simulates two-hand pentatonic runs with control over speed and dynamics, while three playing modes—Keyboard, Gliss, and Instrument—suit different workflows. Five mic positions with individual EQ and mix control, plus four mic modes, offer sonic flexibility. Voice-independent SAHDS modulation and an advanced MIDI CC editor with integrated piano roll ensure lifelike expression. A built-in FX suite includes 8-band EQ, dual compressor, 6-tap echo, and IR reverb. Ideal for composers, producers, and sound designers seeking evocative traditional Chinese timbres, it also includes extensive licks and rare techniques for authentic results.
