Ample Percussion Cloudrum

Ample Percussion Cloudrum by Ample Sound brings the mellow, ringing character of a steel tongue drum to your productions. Spanning three octaves, this sampled instrument suits gentle melodies, atmospheric layers and relaxed percussion parts, whether you make ambient tracks, cinematic cues or electronic music. Four articulations—Open, Mute, Opened Release and Muted Release—provide contrasting attacks and decays for expressive phrases. Two microphone positions with stereo and mono modes let you shape its presentation, while the Double feature uses different samples in the left and right channels. Separate sample cycles for each note and velocity layer help repeated passages feel more natural; optional Cycle * 3 Simulation increases the cycle count from four to as many as twelve. With MIDI CC and automation control, Cloudrum suits hobby producers looking to add an organic, melodic percussion voice to their arrangements.
