Ample Bass Upright III is a virtual upright bass instrument with a 4.26 GB sample library recorded on every fret without destructive editing or dynamic processing. It offers eight articulations including sustain, mute, natural harmonic, hammer-on/pull-off, legato slide, and slide in/out, with legato playable at any duration, speed, pitch, and polyphony. The instrument supports alternate tunings down to B0 and combines mic and DI samples for acoustic and electric character; mic and DI signals can be mixed and processed separately. Multiple stereo and mono modes let you adjust mic volumes and width for solo or ensemble use. A fretless slide system reproduces smooth legato, while the redesigned Tab Player supports all articulations and notations. Multiple capo logics provide automatic fingering for different performance styles. The Riffer editor shows fingering, articulation, expression, and playing noise, with eight attributes per note. A dice-based riff generator creates new ideas from analyzed music scores, and conversion between Riff, MIDI, and Tab formats preserves keyswitches and controllers. Built-in FX include 8-band EQ, 2-line compressor, 6-tap echo, and IR reverb. Suitable for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows or Mac.
