Ample Sound Ample Guitar VC v3.7.0 is a virtual electric guitar instrument built around the sound of a Gibson SG Vintage ’61. Aimed at producers writing vintage rock, particularly styles associated with the 1970s and 1980s, it provides tools for programming rhythm parts and expressive lead lines without recording a guitarist.

The Riffer editor lets you shape individual notes with articulation, vibrato, bends and legato, while its Dice generator helps develop new riff ideas. For chord-based arrangements, Strummer offers 14 strum notes, 28 playing variations per chord, customizable rhythms and four humanization settings. Alternate tuning, capo fingering options and double-guitar functionality add further flexibility.

Tone shaping is handled by six amp models, seven cabinets, eight microphone choices per cabinet and room microphones. An eight-band EQ, compressor, six-tap echo and convolution reverb provide additional processing within the instrument.
