Ample Metal Eclipse is a virtual electric guitar instrument that recreates the sound of an ESP Eclipse I, focusing on bridge pickup samples for a tight, aggressive metal tone. It runs as VST2, VST3, AU, AAX or standalone on Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit only) and Mac OS 10.9 or higher, and requires 10 GB of disk space. The 4.6 GB library includes nine articulations such as sustain, hammer-on and pull-off, legato slide, palm mute, and natural harmonic, with stereo and mono modes. Built-in tools include an amp simulator with six classic amp models and seven cabinets with eight microphone options each, plus room mics. The Riffer editor lets you edit notes with eight attributes and generate riffs, while the Strummer offers 14 strum notes and 28 playing styles per chord. Effects include an 8-band EQ, compressor, 6-tap echo, and IR reverb. A tab reader can load and play guitar tablature. It suits hobby producers making rock and metal in FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic Pro.
