Analog Obsession BlackVibe v2.0 is a free tube amplifier effect with tremolo, designed for processing guitars and keyboards. It suits home producers who want an amp-style signal chain inside their DAW, with the freedom to choose their own cabinet processing rather than rely on a fixed combination.

The design pairs an F-Type preamp and tremolo section with an M-Type tone stack and power amplifier. This gives you amplifier tone shaping and rhythmic volume modulation in one plugin. There is no built-in speaker cabinet, so guitar users can follow BlackVibe with KABIN or a cabinet impulse-response loader of their choice.

Version 2.0 brings a revised circuit model, DSP improvements and lower CPU usage. The interface has also been refreshed, with Retina/HiDPI display support, knob value readouts and touchscreen operation.

For Windows setups, BlackVibe is available in VST and VST3 formats, making it suitable for compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. It is a practical option for producers building guitar or keyboard effects chains around separate amp and cabinet stages.
