Analog Obsession BXQ v5.0 is a free Baxandall EQ plugin for producers who want straightforward tonal shaping with separate left/right or mid/side control. It suits hobby musicians adjusting individual tracks, instrument groups or a full mix, with stepped settings that make small changes easy to repeat.

The low band offers eight frequency choices from 40 Hz to 1.2 kHz, while the high band covers eight positions between 3 kHz and 18 kHz. Both provide up to 5 dB of boost or cut in 0.5 dB increments. Switchable low-cut and high-cut filters help trim the frequency extremes, and output controls provide another ±5 dB of level adjustment.

Use channel linking for coordinated left/right changes, or switch to mid/side processing to EQ the centre and sides separately. Oversampling is available through the Analog Obsession label. The touchscreen-compatible interface scales from 50% to 200%, making it easier to fit different displays.

On Windows 10–11, BXQ is available in VST3 and AAX formats and requires OpenGL-capable graphics. Its VST3 version suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
