Analog Obsession FRANK v2.0 is a free analog-style EQ plugin for producers who prefer a handful of fixed frequency choices over a fully adjustable equalizer. It combines EQ sections drawn from four familiar hardware module styles, making it useful for broad tonal shaping on individual tracks, buses, or a full mix.

Its controls cover an H-Type low cut at 50 Hz, P-Type bass boost and attenuation at 60 Hz, an A-Type mid band at 1.6 kHz, an N-Type high shelf at 12 kHz, and P-Type high attenuation at 20 kHz. This layout lets you trim low-end rumble, adjust bass weight, shape midrange presence, and balance upper-frequency brightness without searching through frequency ranges.

Version 2 adds a custom line amplifier with compensated gain, revised circuit modeling and DSP, and lower CPU usage. Optional 4x oversampling is accessed through the ANALOG OBSESSION label. The updated interface supports Retina/HiDPI displays and includes knob value readouts.

Windows VST and VST3 versions suit compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. Mac users also have an AU option for Logic Pro.
