Analog Obsession KABIN v2.0 is a free guitar cabinet modeling effect for producers and guitarists who want to adjust speaker response and virtual microphone placement inside their DAW. It suits home recording and guitar-based productions where cabinet size, midrange character, and dynamics need shaping.

The SIZE control changes both the speaker and enclosure response, covering compact, battery-powered amp-style cabinets through to a 1×12 configuration. CHARACTER moves between Soft and Punch: softer settings smooth the mids, particularly the low mids, while punchier settings produce a fuller midrange. This control also affects dynamic response rather than simply adjusting frequencies.

A modeled tube microphone sits in front of the cabinet. Use MIC to shift it horizontally from its default central position and explore different tonal balances. OUTPUT provides final level adjustment up to +12 dB.
