Analog Obsession KolinMB is a free multiband compressor that brings the character of the Kolin vintage limiting amplifier to separate frequency ranges. It suits hobby producers who want to shape dynamics across the spectrum rather than apply the same compression to an entire signal.

Each band provides attack settings from 1–50 ms, release times from 0.1–3 seconds, an external sidechain option, and a dry/wet mix control for parallel compression. Gain-compensated input controls offer 40 dB of adjustment, while output controls provide ±20 dB. Master input, output, and mix controls let you adjust the overall processing without changing every band individually.

Adjustable crossover points span 50 Hz–1.2 kHz for the lower split and 1.2–12 kHz for the upper split. Individual band bypass switches help you compare changes, and a master bypass disables the whole effect. KolinMB also includes 4x oversampling, touchscreen support, and an interface that scales from 50% to 200%.

On Windows 10–11, KolinMB is available in VST3 and AAX formats and requires OpenGL-compatible graphics. Its VST3 version suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
