Analog Obsession N492ME is a free four-band mastering EQ for producers who want separate control over the left and right channels or the mid and side signals of a stereo mix. Its dual-mono, stereo and mid/side processing options suit hobby producers refining finished tracks or adjusting tonal differences across a mix.

The EQ combines low and high shelves with two midrange bands, each offering up to 15 dB of boost or cut. The low shelf spans 50–400 Hz, while the high shelf covers 3–10 kHz. A high-pass filter provides 20, 80 and 140 Hz settings for reducing low-frequency content.

Channel linking lets you make coordinated adjustments, while separate output controls support independent left/right or mid/side level changes. Master and individual channel bypass switches help you compare your EQ decisions with the untreated signal. When channels are linked, the lower control section is inactive.

Version 6.2 extends the low-mid frequency range and retains 4x oversampling and knob value readouts. Windows VST and VST3 support makes N492ME an option for compatible FL Studio and Ableton Live setups.
