Analog Obsession OAQ v4.0 is a free six-band equalizer for producers who want selectable frequency points, stereo control and optional saturation when shaping a mix or master. Its dual-mono, stereo and mid-side modes let you adjust channels independently or work on the centre and sides of a stereo signal.

Each band offers up to 18 dB of boost or cut. Two low bands cover selectable points from 20 to 120 Hz, two mid bands span 400 Hz to 3 kHz, and two high bands reach from 5 to 20 kHz. A low-cut filter around 50 Hz provides another way to manage the bottom end.

The Drive control adds up to 24 dB of drive; at zero, saturation is disabled. Optional 4x oversampling applies only while Drive is active. Channel linking and a bypass switch make adjustments easier to manage.

Version 4.0 updates the circuit modelling and DSP, reduces CPU usage, and introduces a redesigned HiDPI interface with knob readouts and touchscreen support. Windows VST and VST3 formats suit compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
