Analog Obsession RareSE v5.0 is a free vintage-style program EQ for producers who want to shape tone while controlling how equalization affects a stereo signal. It offers low-frequency boost and attenuation, high-frequency boost, and a separate high-frequency attenuation selector. Use it to adjust bass weight, soften the top end, or add brightness to tracks and stereo mixes.

RareSE can process Left/Right channels independently or switch to Mid/Side mode, letting you treat the center and sides differently. Link the two sections for matched adjustments, or unlink them for separate settings. Section solo controls help you hear the area you are working on, while output controls let you adjust levels after EQ changes. In Mid/Side mode, bypass is linked between both sections.

Version 5.0 updates the tube, transformer, and output-stage modeling, adds selectable 4x oversampling, and reduces CPU usage. Parameter readouts, touchscreen support, and HiDPI graphics make adjustments easier to follow. Available in VST and VST3 formats for Windows, RareSE suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton Live, or other compatible hosts.
