The compensated input control offers ±18 dB of adjustment to drive the modeled circuit and change the amount of compression. Despite their hardware-style names, DC Threshold behaves like a ratio control, ranging from 1:1 to 10:1, while AC Threshold sets the compression threshold across a 50 dB range. Attack is fixed at 10 ms, and six release positions provide different timing and compression curves, including signal-dependent automatic settings.

A Mix knob blends dry and compressed audio without extra routing. The sidechain high-pass filter spans 20–500 Hz, reducing how strongly bass frequencies trigger compression rather than filtering bass out of the audio itself. External sidechain support lets another signal control gain reduction, and ±18 dB output gain helps restore level.

Version 5.0 refines the attack/release response and compression curve, adds Mix and HPF controls, and updates the interface.
