Ancient Greek Percussion

Soundiron Ancient Greek Percussion is a Kontakt instrument library built around six handcrafted percussion instruments: Crotalum, Kymbalon, Sistrum, two sizes of Tympanon, and Tympanon Zill. Wood, goatskin, gut, and bronze give this collection an earthy acoustic character, from resonant drum tones to bright metallic accents. It suits producers and composers looking for distinctive rhythms for cinematic scores, historical settings, ambient tracks, or acoustic layers in electronic music. Independent close and overhead microphone controls let you adjust the perspective, while up to 12 round robins and 10 velocity layers per articulation support expressive performances. Beyond traditional percussion, 20 sound-designed ambiences offer material for atmospheric textures. The interface adds articulation layering, filters, tempo-synced modulation, an arpeggiator, and a modular effects rack, making it useful for both natural percussion arrangements and more experimental sound design.
