Ancient Kingdom

Ancient Kingdom is a virtual instrument from EastWest Sounds that brings rare wind instruments from around the world into your DAW. Recorded by Saulius Petreikis, it covers instruments like the Armenian duduk and Indian bansuri, each with detailed articulations including long, short, effects, legato, and keyswitch. The interface centers on a 3D display with mood presets, performance scripts, and MIDI controls on the left, while the right panel offers FX mixes, convolution reverbs, and routing. Four innovative signal paths use amplifiers, distortion, megaphones, and rotating speakers to push these ancient tones into otherworldly textures. With pristine multi-mic recordings, Ancient Kingdom suits composers and producers seeking evocative, cinematic winds for traditional or experimental music. It works in FL Studio, Ableton, and Logic on Windows and Mac.
