APFX Audio PRIMO is a guitar amp effect for Windows, built around the character of a boutique, handmade Italian amplifier. It uses AI trained on the physical amp rather than conventional circuit modeling or fixed tone snapshots. The result is a two-channel design that covers clean playing, mild breakup, crunch, and lead sounds.
CH1 handles the cleaner side of the range, moving from clear tones into the grit of an amp pushed toward breakup. CH2 focuses on heavier drive, making it the channel to explore for crunchy rhythm parts and saturated leads. That split gives home producers and guitarists a straightforward way to choose between lower-gain textures and more aggressive amp sounds.
PRIMO suits musicians who want to add guitar amp character to their productions without working with a physical amplifier.
