Applied Acoustics Systems Swatches v1.5.3 WiN MAC [FREE]

Applied Acoustics Systems Swatches is a free collection of playable instrument presets supplied with the AAS Player plug-in. It offers more than 570 sounds selected from the AAS Sound Pack Series, giving hobby producers a way to explore the range without buying individual packs first.

The included player uses the sound engines behind Chromaphone 3, Strum GS-2, Ultra Analog VA-3, and String Studio VS-3. Rather than being a folder of audio samples, Swatches provides sounds you play through AAS Player. The same player can also load other AAS sound pack titles, which are sold separately.

Swatches draws from 55 sound packs, with at least eight presets added for each new pack release. That makes it a useful starting point for producers who prefer browsing ready-made sounds to building patches from scratch. Its straightforward player keeps the focus on choosing a preset and trying it in a musical idea. This Windows download is listed at 41.5 MB.
