Attack 3

Attack 3 from Waldorf is a percussion synthesizer that puts rhythm front and center. Built on a virtual analogue engine with optional sample playback, it covers everything from punchy kicks to melodic percussion, drawing on the classic sounds of 80s drum machines and 90s club beats. Every parameter is tweakable in real time and fully automatable in your DAW, so you can shape sounds hands-on. The expanded engine offers refined oscillators, new 24 dB and comb filters, sample-rate reduction, and multiple drive types for gritty character. Two envelopes and two LFOs per sound, plus extensive modulation routing, give you deep control. Each sound has its own compressor, EQ, and selectable effect, while six output busses add further polish. With 24 sounds per kit and 12 playable polyphonically, Attack 3 suits producers who want to craft unique percussion from scratch in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
