Transient Shaper is a free plugin for shaping the attack and sustain portions of any audio signal. It lets you boost or reduce the initial punch of drums, add or remove room tone, and extend or tighten decay on toms, guitars, and vocals. Each section includes a 2X switch that doubles the effect, a clip button for hard digital ceiling control, and an output gain for pushing into the clipper. Phase inversion, bypass, and a mix knob for parallel processing are also included. It runs as AU on Mac and is compatible with VST, VST3, RTAS, and AAX on Windows and Mac, in both 32- and 64-bit versions.
