Audio Blast AcidBox 2 is a TB-303-style bass synthesizer for Windows, built for producers who want to program acid lines and reshape them while a track plays. Its saw and square waveforms feed a resonant low-pass filter, with five distortion options and a ping-pong delay featuring feedback filtering for extra grit and movement.
The onboard sequencer holds up to 32 patterns, each ranging from 1 to 64 steps. Set notes, accents and slides, then refine individual steps with fine tuning, micro-timing and panning. Global gate and groove controls help adjust the feel, while copy, paste and customizable randomization make it easier to develop variations.
AcidBox 2 can follow your DAW tempo, run independently, respond to MIDI notes or use incoming MIDI to play sequences in ARP mode. Pattern changes can align to beats or bars, and MIDI output lets the sequencer send notes back to your host. Sequence import/export, four interface sizes and a dark mode round out a practical setup for hobby producers using FL Studio or Ableton Live.
